Jerry van de Beek, co-founder and creative director at Little Fluffy Clouds animation studio in San Francisco.

Jerry van de Beek is LFC’s co-founder and creative director. Jerry received his Masters Degree in Image & Media Technology from the Utrecht School of the Arts. His first film, Ja-Knikker (Oil Pumps), garnered an honorable mention from the Holland Animation Film Festival. This was followed by a second award-winning short, Jazz. In London Jerry was voted most promising newcomer in digital film animation by Direction Magazine. Van de Beek forged techniques for the seamless integration of traditional and digital animation, notably his proprietary digital referencing application, DIANA. Jerry juries animation awards, gives lectures and sits on panels at SIGGRAPH and other animation conferences. Prior to LFC he was animation director at (Colossal) Pictures where he worked on many of their successful ad campaigns and zany projects. An avid mountain biker, Jerry is originally from The Netherlands but now lives very happily near bike trails in California.
